Rescue mission after Ben Nevis fall

A mountain rescue mission has been launched on Britain's highest mountain, according to police.

At 11am a report was received by Northern Constabulary that someone had fallen from Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis in the Highlands.

Lochaber Mountain Rescue have responded to the call and a helicopter from Prestwick has been dispatched.
