Man arrested over body in flat

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man whose body was found in a flat. Strathclyde Police detained the man, 24, one day after the body of John Weir, 36, was discovered in Beechwood Drive, Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire. Mr Weir, of the Erskine area, was found dead at the property at about 1.50am on Friday after a call from a member of the public.
