Hillwalker search team finds body

Rescuers searching for a missing hillwalker have found a body, police said. A search was launched after a man in his 70s was reported missing at midday on Wednesday in the Glen Etive area in the Highlands. Northern Constabulary, Strathclyde Police, Glencoe mountain rescue team, Oban mountain rescue team, RAF mountain rescue team, rescue helicopter 177 and search and rescue dogs were involved in the operation. Northern Constabulary said that the body of a man was found in the Stob Dubh area of Glen Etive at around 2.30pm on Friday. It has not yet been formally identified.
