Five people were arrested and around £12,000 in cash and drugs was seized in police raids on Wednesday.
Lothian and Borders Police said they confiscated £6,500-worth of heroin, valium and diazepam along with almost £6,000 in cash while searching three properties in the Wester Hailes and Sighthill areas of Edinburgh.
Three men aged 35, 37 and 40 and two women aged 38 and 39 were arrested and charged in connection with drug offences.
All five are set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
A police spokesman said: "Lothian and Borders Police is committed to ridding our communities of drugs, and these seizures were a direct result of local people coming forward and giving us information. We would encourage anyone who suspects anyone of profiting from crime in their community to contact us."
