Heatheryhaugh Lodges

By Scott Marley

Situated in the lovely town of Moffat, which has won the "Loveliest Small Burgh in Scotland" award several times, these relatively new lodges (built in 1982) look out on to the glens of the Southern Uplands.

These four very roomy detached lodges built of stone, timber and brick have all the mod cons, colour T.V., crockery, microwave and oven, cutlery etc. You don't need to bring a thing.

The three bedrooms have modern comfortable beds, not any bunks or pull out beds to be seen, so your sure to gat a really good nights sleep. The main bedroom is en-suite too, adding to the feel of luxury, sheer luxury.

The large bathroom has a bath and a shower, heated towel rail and electric razor point.

You may be surprised that each lodge has its very own laundry room complete with washer and dryer.

If you're after a relaxing week, you can sit in the comfortable lounge and look out the windows to the grasslands with birds, rabbits and the occasional red squirrel running past.

Each lodge sleeps up to six people with Prices varying according to the time of the year, from £190.00 to £390.00 per lodge per week, Short breaks in the off season are welcome at special prices.
